Aimee:
Aimee is a 16 year old girl from the Gold Coast. Aimee is happy, loud and fun to be around. However, she only has one friend- Jade. Aimee spends a lot of time with her doing all sorts of things. Aimee is not assertive and is ‘cool with whatever’. Aimee is described by Jade as the ‘bestest friend anybody could ever have’. Despite this, something happened between Aimee and Jade which broke apart the long and tight friendship between them. Jade discovered who Aimee really was.
Jade:
Jade is a 16 year old girl from Australia. She moved to the Gold Coast at the age of 6 from Sydney. Jade is quiet, reserved and antisocial. She has had friends in the past who have betrayed her, and as a result prefers to have less friends who won’t do the same. When she met Aimee her life changed forever. Jade became a happier and more social individual and spent all her time with Aimee. However, when Jade discovered who Aimee was, she realised that she couldn’t be friends with her anymore. Afterwards, the lasting effects of the positive friendship have made Jade a more sociable and confident girl, who is now seemingly normal on the surface.
I didn't want to give too much away in my character bios and synopsis, it would spoil the movie for the potential audience. I think I wrote enough information to intrigue the audience but not enough to spoil the ending.

My synopsis
When Jade, 16, cleans her desk and discovers a pink photo album full of old photos, she discovers many memories including her old friend Aimee. They were clearly best friends, they rollerbladed, went to the beach together, smiled, laughed and both had amazing times with each other. It seemed strange that anything could separate the two girls! However, something did. Something big. What could have caused this to happen?
Poster ideas
Basically, we have to make a film poster for our website. These are some of my ideas:
-Rollerblading scene- Jade is in front and Aimee is behind. Aimee is masked and the opacity is turned down, so she appears transparent.
-Beach scene- Aimee and Jade are lying on the towels. Clumps of photos of Jade are masked all over the sand.
-Photo album- Jade's photo album with her hand over it. Her hand, or alternatively the photo album, is masked with photos.
-'Unforgettable' written in pills on the bench top from the kitchen scene. The pills would have tiny masked photos from the film on them

Some concepts
I put in 3 secret links in my website. These lead to 3 different 'extra' goodies- the trailer for my film, my blog address (to check out pre-production, production and post-production information) and some trivia/fun facts which includes filming locations. I thought this would be a nice addition to my website. Also, it's symbolic because all photos have hidden meanings. Many websites have 'easter eggs' as well, put there on purpose so people can discover.
I also thought up of an idea- Jade's photo album. Basically, I would've taken photos of some of the pages in the album, and scanned indivicual photos. I would have 6 pages scanned, and there are 3 photos per page. So 18 photos in total. Each would have an individual description. e.g. Jade's first day at school. She found out later that no one wanted to be friends with her, until she met Aimee' I thought it would be a cool feature but unfortunately I ran out of time and couldn't do it :(
If I knew how to use Flash, I would create a splash page in which photos would float down onto a pile of photos. The word enter would be written on a photo which has been turned face down. But I can't really do this because I have no idea how to use flash... at all.
